How do I buy tickets?
Browse events on the Home tab, tap any event to see details, select your ticket tier, enter your details, and pay securely via Paystack. Your QR code ticket will be sent to your email instantly! 🎫
Are my payments secure?
Absolutely! All payments are processed through Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your card details. Your transactions are encrypted and 100% secure. 🔒
Can I get a refund?
Refund policies vary by event organizer. Check the event details page for specific refund terms. For assistance, contact us at hello@pulsefy.co.za with your booking reference. 💰
How do I use my ticket?
Your ticket includes a unique QR code. Simply show it at the venue entrance on your phone or print it out. The QR code is scanned for entry - keep it safe and don't share it! 📱

What are Featured listings?
Featured businesses appear at the top of search results with a ⭐ badge, get priority on the map, and receive detailed analytics. Plans start at R299/month. Contact us for custom packages! 🌟
How do I promote my venue (BnB, club, shisanyama)?
Open Profile → 📣 Promotions. Pick the template that matches: 🏡 BnB for stays, 🪩 Club Night for Fri/Sat parties, 🔥 Shisanyama for Sunday sessions. Each template pre-fills sensible defaults (price, placement, duration) so you can launch in under a minute. Submit and wait for admin approval. 📣
What makes a great BnB / Stay promo?
Show the space — exterior + interior + the view. Mention weekend rate, location (city + suburb), and what makes it different (pool, braai, sea view). Add a WhatsApp or booking link. Best run window: 14 days. 🏡
What makes a great Club Night promo?
Lead with the headline DJ or lineup. Pin the date + door time clearly. Mention door price + dress code. Use a high-energy image with the venue branding. Featured placement (weekend hero) works best — run it Wed–Sat. 🪩
What makes a great Shisanyama promo?
Sunday afternoon is prime. Lead with the food + drinks special (e.g. "Pap & wors R65, double Hennessy R120"). Add the resident DJ or live act. Feed-injected placement reaches casual scrollers — set the run for 14 days to cover recurring Sundays. 🔥
Can I manage multiple locations?
Yes! Business accounts can manage multiple venues from one dashboard. Each location gets its own profile, reviews, and analytics. Perfect for chains and franchises. 📍
How do reviews work?
Verified customers can leave reviews after visiting. You can respond to reviews from your dashboard. Positive reviews boost your ranking! Maintain great service for 5-star ratings. ⭐
🎤 For Event Organizers
How do I create an event?
Sign up as an organizer, go to your dashboard, and click "Create Event". Add details, upload images, set ticket tiers and prices. We handle payments and send tickets automatically! 🎉
What are your fees?
Pulsefy charges 8% per ticket sold. Payment processing fees (Paystack) are additional. Free events have no fees! You receive payouts within 7 days after your event. 💳
When do I get paid?
Payouts are processed 7 days after your event concludes. Funds are transferred directly to your registered bank account. Track sales and payouts in real-time from your dashboard. 💰
Can I scan tickets at the door?
Yes! Use our free QR scanner app (coming soon) or any QR reader. Each ticket has a unique code that validates once. Real-time attendance tracking prevents duplicate entries. 📲
How do I promote my event?
Open Profile → 📣 Promotions and pick the "Event Boost" template. Paste your Event ID, add a hero image and external link, then submit. Once an admin approves it (usually within hours), your promo appears in the Featured carousel and in user feeds. 📣
What placements can I choose for my promo?
Featured (weekend hero) = top of the homepage carousel, best for Fri/Sat events. Feed-injected = appears mixed into the main feed, best for steady awareness. Both = maximum reach. Pick based on your event's vibe and date. 🎯
How long does approval take?
Most promos are reviewed within a few hours. You'll see status in Profile → Promotions: ● Pending Review means we're looking; ● Approved means it's live. We may reject promos that lack images, have broken links, or violate community rules. ⏳
Tips for a promo that converts
1) Use a sharp hero image (1080×1080 or 16:9). 2) Mention the headline act or vibe in the title. 3) Set a clear price or "FREE" tag. 4) Add a working external link (Quicket, WhatsApp, IG). 5) Time your run window — Fri promos should launch by Wed. 🔥
Can I offer discount codes?
Yes! Create promo codes in your dashboard. Set percentage or fixed discounts, usage limits, and expiry dates. Perfect for early birds, VIPs, and marketing campaigns! 🎫
