1. Who We Are

Pulsefy is a South African live event discovery platform that helps you find events, buy tickets, connect with venues and share experiences. These Terms govern your use of pulsefy.co.za and all associated apps and services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Pulsefy account. To purchase tickets for 18+ events or register as an event organizer, you must be at least 18 years old.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally allowed to enter into this agreement.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You may not share your account with others.
• You may not create multiple accounts to evade a ban or suspension.
• Notify us immediately at support@pulsefy.co.za if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Usernames and handles must not impersonate real people, businesses or public figures.

4. Organizer Accounts (Pages)

Event organizers and businesses may register as a Pulsefy Page. Pages are always public and can be followed by users. You must be the authorized representative of the business or event you register.

• False or misleading event listings may result in immediate suspension.
• Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy of ticket prices, dates and venues.
• Pulsefy charges an 8% service fee on all ticket sales processed through our platform.
• Verified badges are granted at Pulsefy's discretion after identity verification.

5. Tickets & Payments

All ticket sales are processed via Paystack using ZAR. By purchasing a ticket you agree to:

• Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer.
• If an event is cancelled, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
• Tickets may not be resold at a premium (no touting).
• Pulsefy is a marketplace — we facilitate ticket sales but the organizer is the seller.

6. User Content

When you post photos, captions, comments or any other content on Pulsefy, you:

• Retain ownership of your content.
• Grant Pulsefy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it within the platform.
• Confirm you have the right to post it (no copyright violations).
• Agree not to post illegal, hateful, violent, sexually explicit or spam content.

We may remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, bullying or threats against other users.
• Posting content that incites violence, hatred or discrimination.
• Scraping, crawling or data-mining the platform.
• Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.
• Creating fake events or fake ticket listings.
• Impersonating venues, artists, public figures or Pulsefy staff.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We collect your name, email, phone (if provided) and location for the purpose of providing the service.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• Your location is used only to show nearby events — you can disable this in settings.
• Payment data is handled exclusively by Paystack. We do not store card details.

9. Termination

We may suspend or permanently delete your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Profile Settings. Purchased tickets associated with a deleted account remain valid.

10. Limitation of Liability

Pulsefy is a platform that connects users with events. We are not responsible for the quality, safety or accuracy of events listed by third-party organizers. Attend events at your own risk. Our liability is limited to the amount of any ticket processing fees you paid to us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
